So he resigns because his wife got a job as a principal and they have a young child and it is too much for him to be the HC of a high school football program, but then he is hired to run the entire athletic program of a 5a high school? That makes sense.

Bad time of year to be looking for a coach, and not the most attractive of jobs.

True. It's like mission impossible, kids are leaving, and they promote a principal with no real experience to be a football coach. This is the 3rd coach in 3 years or so. Maybe they'll turn it around and win 7 games this year or maybe they'll let the band director run the program next time.

Not everyone can be a winner in the region and this sealed the deal.
