Any names that have come up for this one? Would love to see Conway back on the upswing, I used to drive past there every Friday as a kid and loved seeing the place packed. Now I live there are it’s just not the same

Only names I’ve heard are former Conway QB Hunter Spivey but he’s too much of a risk at this point IMO. We need a sure thing, the best coach we can possibly get to turn it around quickly. Jody Jenerette was the runner up last time but I’ve heard he’s not going to be a candidate this time. The job posting closes Monday.

GSF was posted for only a week also. It’s how Horry county does things. I was told there will be over 100 applicants so interest in the job is very high. The goal is for the district to go through the applications and weed out the ones not qualified by Christmas break so the principal can start interviews in January and get board approval at the February meeting.
