I am not at all familiar with the 1A schools, but this I do know.....they work just as hard as any of the "power" 3A/4A schools. A state championship is just as special to them as anyone.

Christ Church is always in the running.

I think McBee will get their 1st this yr. think that loss to Lamar will help.

Someone actually has Christ Church's number this year, I don't know if it's all that emotion from offseason changing of 1a designations etc.

Christ Church has already been beat once this year its goin to be hard to beat them again they seem to be back on track

C. C. WAS 8-2.they lost to ABBEVILLE and SOUTHSIDE CHRISTIAN beat them for the region title
SOUTHSIDE CHRISTIAN was 9-1 in the regular season.SOUTHSIDE CHRISTIAN will be in the region
with 96 and ABBEVILLE next season.

1A football in S.C. has a very good small community following......I can remember when Lewisville / Great Falls would
have some epic games to decide the region.

I see where Great Falls had to forfeit their game last night. Do you happen to know why?

I see where Great Falls had to forfeit their game last night. Do you happen to know why?

They only have 87 males in the school. 22 were on the football team and 5 left the team early in the week for undisclosed reasons. With only 17 to suit up, it was forfeited with no penalty from schsl, or anyone else.

Thanks for the info. That saddens me. At one time, Great Falls was a force to be reckoned with.
