New Turf / Aiken County

Post by MV stats »

Aiken HS, Midland Valley HS, and Silver Bluff HS are all getting Artificial turf added to their football fields.
North Augusta was the only school that already had it on their field.
I know at Midland Valley the field had gotten really bad.
Aiken HS got the field, and also new bleachers and press box.

But yet, according to reports, the last coach left because the district wouldn’t supply a certified trainer at practices. But yet they can afford turf for multiple schools. Something doesn’t add up there. But don’t think a turf field will fix the issues at Aiken High

If they have not already, Aiken needs to upgrade the press box. I hope they have. It was an accident waiting to happen.
