Dutch Fork handled Byrnes pretty good tonight in a scrimmage, not sure of the specifics but my buddy told me that was the score.

It's past due time for a new leader in Duncan. Plenty of talent still there, talent has never been the issue. Not sure the admin will put up with this too much longer.

Never....ever....trust anyone from the greater Duncan-Lyman-Wellford megalopolis...if that was the score, Rebel Nation was playing possum...

That was the score. TK and crew could have hung a hundred. Byrnes has plenty of talent, maybe the best RB in the state, but no leadership at the top.

Ouch....a lot of DF fans have been looking to next year and the year after for something really special...might be a year ahead of schedule. You are very correct. Byrnes is like Fort D, Summerville, Gaffney, Dorman, Spartanburg etc...talent is never the issue. Truth is always somewhere in the middle...Rebels are likely not as bad as they seem and the Silver Foxes are probably not as good as they seem. Have to wait and see when it counts....November.

Probably the beginning of the end for the Shaw era in Duncan. I know some, maybe more than some, thought a change should have been made after last year.

The Rebels were 10-2 last season...OT loss to Hillcrest in the playoffs...beat Gaffney, Spartanburg and Dorman (twice)...have to see how this plays out. Never know what teenagers are thinking.., they may find the gear soon.

That doesn't tell the entire story. That team should have been in Orangeburg. I don't know of a team during Shaw's tenure that has been better at the end of the season compared to the beginning. A change should have been made a while back. Players leaving, lack of discipline, that is a direct reflection of who is at the top. 6 Ocs in 8 seasons is not a mixture for success. I believe a lot of people want a new coach when the new stadium opens next fall.
