On this date in 1976.....

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

I reported to Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), Fort Jackson and did my final paperwork and physical and got on the plane the next day to Navy Boot Camp thus beginning a very long journey.

Two tours in Sigonella Sicily
Three different ships (USS VOGE, USS BELLEAU WOOD, USS HUE CITY) and a really short time on USS Oliver H. Perry
A tour at MCRD Parris Island and SIMA Newport, RI.

Even though is was 1976, I still remember it as it was yesterday!

I woke up this morning, that's a positive!
Right now I am vertical, on top of the grass
and I don't hear harp music! All good things!

Of course, that is not really too impressive since I don't remember what I did yesterday!
I've got that CRS!  :D

And slicker, I think a FART would best describe you! Noisy and smelly!
