I guess you never plan on retiring! Once we get above 60 some of us do like to do other things besides deal with the frustration of potty mouth parents, entitled kids, and delirious fans who believe that they can do it better but won’t volunteer and put in the time to help the programs but will complain about everything you do! When was the last time you hugged your coach when he lost?mikey wrote:Sir Slick u ever notice every time they post ....they remind us they "used" to coach...CITYSLICKER wrote:DAMN, ITS BAD ENOUGH TO HAVE TO PUT UP WITH NEWKATS BUT WASHED UP COACHES TOO, DAMN![]()
I got a much better job and left education. Did I love coaching, yes, but coaching wasn't what defined me. I turned a program around, got some kids to college for free, and left on my terms, I'm happy with that. At my age, I could always go back to coaching if the right opportunity was offered to me.mikey wrote:Sir Slick u ever notice every time they post ....they remind us they "used" to coach...CITYSLICKER wrote:DAMN, ITS BAD ENOUGH TO HAVE TO PUT UP WITH NEWKATS BUT WASHED UP COACHES TOO, DAMN![]()
