I don't expect SF to go to doormat status again. However I do think Conway will be back on top of the region again soon. In this 5 year drought we still beat WF 3 times but haven't had as much success against SF and I don't expect that to change this year. I get a kick out of CF, MB and Socastee thinking they beat an old Conway team. LOL

With Socastee joining the mix next year, it might be awhile before ANY order is restored, I've got a feeling it will be a all out battle royal to win this region in the next few yrs. And not to take away from the Spartanburg area, but it will be good to hear about the Pee Dee/ Grand Strand instead of upstate this and upstate that.

I agree to a certain extent about Socastee. They have had great success lately with the Renfrow brothers but all that is gone after this year. There program is much better than it used to be but the question is this just an unusual group of kids they have and can they sustain it? History of their program says not and like I stated in an earlier post. Conway JV's have beat them twice in back to back weeks this year holding that option they run to 14 points in 8 quarters. Another thing to watch out for is their new coach is planning on changing the offense from the wishbone to the spread because that's what he likes to run. I believe that will be a mistake as they don't have that type of athlete to run it successfully. I hate defending it but the option gives their kids the best chance to succeed.
