Unfortunately for a lot of these guys, you haven't "made it" unless you are 4A or higher. Never mind staying at a loaded backwoods 1A and winning multiple titles. If it's not 5A, it doesn't count to a lot of this young crop of coaches in this state. Sad really.

I will be shocked if he leaves for Lamar. With this new transfer rule, SF is going to be the dominant powerhouse in the area. They know how to get other schools' kids on their campus

The last coach’s wife passed away in December. He was driving from Columbia and has two young kids. Think this is a bit different than in the past.

Sorry to hear about the coach's wife situation, but if he was driving from Columbia he wasn't planning on setting up roots.
