“Natural disasters have altered South Carolina high school football in recent years. In 2015, the SCHSL made changes to the statewide schedule due to widespread flooding. In 2016, Hurricane Matthew pushed the season back two weeks, with state championship games held in mid-December. In 2018, it was Hurricane Florence that pushed the season back a week.”. P&C paper this am
Amazing how quickly they reacted when all this happened in THE MIDLANDS or LOWCOUNTRY where all the SCHSL staff lives
These kids have not had practice or conditioning since probably last Thursday not to mention the mental state of mind of so many being without power and even homes
“We will decide later on” is piss poor leadership , LEADERS take actions swiftly
SCHSL needs to step up to the plate NOW

Re: SCHSL needs to step up to the plate NOW
The only flaw in your reasoning is that you are using common sense and the SCHSL together. That rarely happens in real life. Those people would not know common sense if they ran into it head first.

As long as their favorites are ok, the SCHSL doesn't care about anybody else. Jerome is inept in his leadership, has been for YEARS! I still don't understand why schools continue to play by their "rules". They have no legal authority over anything.

None of them are going anywhere, and why would they? They make a lot of money to do nothing.Peacekeeper wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 9:04 amApply for their jobs, then you can make the decisions!!
