Offing is a good high school QB. Real good. Not sure it would translate to college as well. His collegiate future is baseball.

DF should still be good post Knotts, but I doubt we see the annual dominance they seem to enjoy under TK. Knott has a presence about him and those kids seem to thrive under that leadership. Few have that. They can be an x and o genius, but his leadership skills will be almost impossible to replace.

With all the injuries Spartanburg was dealing with SP should have won this game. Maybe easily. But coaching matters. Still don’t understand how Collins got the SP job after running a good program Dean Boyd had left in Marlboro County into the ground.

Kind of an odd trail for this guy. You go from HC at North Augusta to Chesterfield with a short stop as AD in Marlboro County. Just wonder what happened at North Augusta. Did the meddling politics behind the scenes eat him up like it did others?

Folks like to point to Greenville’s upset of Northwestern, but I really don’t see how they didn’t win state. Some highly rated college recruits on that team. May have had more talent on that team than anybody in the state in any classification

Don’t know what St Joe’s pays, but from a football standpoint St Joe’s is probably a better job.

Rock Hill could improve I suppose, but I don’t see them returning to the glory days under Jim Ringer. Ringer had a lot of the athletes that are now at SP since it was built.
Indian Land will just keep getting bigger as that area continues to grow. Just depends on the mix of kids they have.

Will be a bigger spring, summer, and fall for Shaw.
