Penguin- Am I woke? ....interesting question. In the greater sense, I suspect I am the most woke person on this site. Traveled...a lot. Passport looked like a Gideon New Testament with all those inserts. Lived and worked in foreign lands- living out on the economy with Iraqis, Jordanians, Emiratis, Afghans, Pakistanis, Uzbeks, Tajiks... getting a greater understanding of the world. Worked with expats from dozens of countries around the world...from the elite to paupers- working to improve livelihoods and stabilize their living conditions- kinda woke sh*t there folks. However, in our nation's current definition of woke, probably not. A guy in a wig and stilettos is a guy wig and stilettos. "Trans women" competing against biological women in sports...well, I guess I'm like JK Rowling....just cancel me. Don't see a huge rush of "Trans men" trying to win medals competing against biological men...well, because they can't. The fact those ingrates like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson spoke out on Rowling's stance as a true feminist...the lady that provided their heirs generational wealth if they are smart with their money...bite the hand that feeds why don't you. Just to be "current". Mind boggling. So, no Pengy....not woke I guess.
