I found these things online and thought it'd make a cool prize for the board members. I'm gonna get some made with our SCPrepTalk logo in the endzone for next season maybe.

The game doesn't come with goalposts. I had to design it and print it out with my 3D printer.

As I recall, those paper football games could get pretty physical back in middle and high school.
Best part of scoring a touchdown was getting to attempt the extra point...

The rules for the game are a bit wonky and definitely need tweaking. Me and Chuck immediately started brainstorming house rules for the game. The old game you just smack the football back and forth which seems more like soccer than American football.

This game has fumble and interception spots on the field which pretty much means there has to be some type of possession in the rules. There isn't a rulebook that comes with the kit, they just mention that you can watch the UPF video on youtube where a couple of guys demonstrate the game. You only get 4 downs though and no chance to reset downs. Instead of crossing the endzone line you have to touch one of the TD circles in the endzone for a TD which is pretty cool.

I'd either change the downs to 8 downs or come up with some way to earn a new set of downs. Say, if you cross the endzone but miss a TD circle, you get 1st and goal.
