Projections as of 9/30

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

Same disclaimers as before....

Yes, it is still too early, more guess than fact at this point, but we're getting closer
Don't know about all the out of state teams STILL!!!! Thanks SCHSL.ORG
Don't know about the A, AA, and AAA teams getting to winning record, etc

as of 9/11 ----- ----- as of 9/17 ----- ----- as of 9/22 ----- ----- as of 9/30 ----- -----

Region One
Hillcrest 1 -------- Hillcrest 1 -------- Hillcrest 1 -------- Hillcrest 1
Westside 2 ------- Greenwood 2 ---- Greenwood 2 ---- Greenwood 2
Greenwood 3 ---- Westside 3 -------- Westside 3 -------- Laurens 3
Laurens 4 --------- Laurens 4 --------- Laurens 4 --------- Woodmont 4

Woodmont's win over Westside shifted things slightly… other than that, same old same old

Region Two:
Byrnes 1 -------------- Byrnes 1 -------------- Dorman 1 -------------- Dorman 1
Boiling Springs 2 ---- Boiling Springs 2 ---- Byrnes 2 ------------ Byrnes 2
Spartanburg 3 ------- Dorman 3 ------------ Boiling Springs 3 ---- Spartanburg 3
Dorman 4 ------------ Spartanburg 4 ------- Spartanburg 4 ------- Boiling Springs 4

I still think the win over Dutch Fork was impressive enough to make the Cavs the favorite for now…
#2 and #3 projections meet Friday Night..

Region Three:
York 1 --------------- York 1 --------------- York 1 --------------- York 1
Northwestern 2 ---- Northwestern 2 ---- Northwestern 2 ---- Northwestern 2
Gaffney 3 ----------- Gaffney 3 ----------- Gaffney 3 ----------- Gaffney 3
Rock Hill 4 ---------- Rock Hill 4 ---------- Rock Hill 4 ---------- Rock Hill 4

No change, but this Friday we will have a better idea about #1 and #2 from this region

Region Four:
Dutch Fork 1 -------- Dutch Fork 1 -------- Dutch Fork 1 -------- Dutch Fork 1
Spring Valley 2 ----- Westwood 2 -------- Westwood 2 -------- Spring Valley 2
Westwood 3 -------- Spring Valley 3 ----- Spring Valley 3 ----- Westwood 3

Flip a coin after Dutch Fork… I cannot even tell you why I flipped Spring Valley and Westwood again?

Region Five:
North Augusta 1 ----- North Augusta 1 ----- North Augusta 1 ----- North Augusta 1
White Knoll 2 --------- White Knoll 2 --------- White Knoll 2 --------- White Knoll 2
Irmo 3 ----------------- Lexington 3 --------- Lexington 3 --------- Lexington 3

No comment… I plead the 5th on Region 5

Region Six:
South Florence 1 ----- South Florence 1 ----- South Florence 1 ----- South Florence 1
Sumter 2 --------------- Sumter 2 --------------- Sumter 2 --------------- Sumter 2
West Florence 3 ------ Socastee 3 ----------- Socastee 3 ----------- Socastee 3

Nothing new here..

Region Seven:
Goose Creek 1 ----- Goose Creek 1 ----- Goose Creek 1 ----- Goose Creek 1
Stratford 2 ---------- Cane Bay 2 ---------- Wando 2 ---------- Wando 2
Cane Bay 3 ---------- Stratford 3 ---------- Stratford 3 ---------- Stratford 3

Ditto

Region Eight:
Summerville 1 --------- Summerville 1 --------- Fort Dorchester 1 --------- Fort Dorchester 1
Fort Dorchester 2 ----- Fort Dorchester 2 ------- Summerville 2 ------- Summerville 2
Ashley Ridge 3 --------- Ashley Ridge 3 --------- Ashley Ridge 3 --------- Ashley Ridge 3

Ditto the ditto

The battle for the #1 & #2 Seeds: #1 and #2 because both would have HOME FIELD until Columbia...
Assume Dorman, Fort Dorchester and Dutch Fork all win out..

Fort Dorchester needs Ashley Ridge to get to 6-5 (which is possible) as well as Summerville and Wando which looks like a done deal

Dorman needs Boiling Springs to reach 6-5 (not as sure as it looked a few weeks ago) and for Gaffney, Rock Hill and Greenwood to win enough games to get more opponents wins should they get to the second tie-breaker. If Mauldin or Gaffney could get to 6-5 that could put Dorman at #1, too. {Keep in mind, Dorman holds the first tie-breaker with Dutch Fork due to the head to head win.}

9/30 ------------------ ----- 9/30 ----- 9/22 ----- 9/17 ----- 9/11 -----
1 Fort Dorchester ----- 1 ----- 1 ----- 5 ----- 6 -----
16 Gaffney ----- 16 ----- 14 ----- 14 ----- 16 -----

8 Spring Valley ----- 8 ----- 15 ----- 15 ----- 9 -----
9 White Knoll ----- 9 ----- 8 ----- 7 ----- 7 -----

4 Hillcrest ----- 4 ----- 4 ----- 4 ----- 4 -----
13 Ashley Ridge ----- 13 ----- 12 ----- 10 ----- 12 -----

5 Byrnes ----- 5 ----- 5 ----- 3 ----- 2 -----
12 Mauldin ----- 12 ----- 11 ----- 12 ----- 11 -----

2 Dorman ----- 2 ----- 2 ----- 9 ----- 10 -----
15 Rock Hill ----- 15 ----- 13 ----- 16 ----- 15 -----

7 Summerville ----- 7 ----- 7 ----- 2 ----- 3 -----
10 Sumter ----- 10 ----- 9 ----- 8 ----- 8 -----

3 Dutch Fork ----- 3 ----- 3 ----- 1 ----- 1 -----
14 Lexington ----- 14 ----- 16 ----- 13 ----- 14 -----

6 Wando ----- 6 ----- 6 ----- 11 ----- 13 -----
11 Boiling Springs ----- 11 ----- 10 ----- 6 ----- 5 -----

9/30 ------------------- ----- 9/30 ----- 9/22 ----- 9/17 ----- 9/11 -----
1 Goose Creek ----- 1 ----- 1 ----- 1 ----- 1 -----
16 Blythewood ----- 16 ----- 15 ----- 13 ----- x -----

8 Spartanburg ----- 8 ----- 11 ----- 10 ----- 8 -----
9 Westside ------- 9 ----- 8 ----- 9 ----- 5 -----

As the top seed wouldn't GC play the 16 seed?? You have them listed as playing the 13 seed Woodmont.

Sorry to keep poking holes.........but you have Wando as a 6 seed and don't have them finishing in the top 3 of region 7.

I see you don't believe me on Socastee yet. Trust me they not even close to last years team. Give them credit they struggling but finding a way to win. Their luck will run out soon. I'll give you an example. Socastee beat St James 17-14 Friday. CF as bad as they are beat St James 49-7.

I agree. They found a way to win but I was not impressed by Socastee when I watched them in Week 1. I could see them going 1-4 in region play.

We played them without our RB. Our offense is finally clicking the last two weeks. Put up 77 points against marlboro co and MB. I know conway is 1-5 but the kids have played a very hard schedule and have got better each week. Our opponents are 25-2 and two of them played each other so really one loss. Only thing holding them back now is learning how to win. The mental part sometimes is the toughest. If we beat WF next week watch out. Lose and I'm not sure they can handle it with all they've been thru so far. We are definitely on the right track as a program.

I've watched the video highlights from Conway's last two games, y'all are on the right track.

None of the Horry 4A schools are playing this week. Are you going to find your way to Florence on Thursday night to see us face off against Blythewood? Wilson has Flo Memorial on Friday night as WF travels to Westwood.

He has Wando finishing 2nd in Region VII. What is a little confusing is up top in his initial post he places the top 3 finishers for each region from left to right(oldest to newest) while at the bottom the seeds are placed right to left(oldest to newest). Dates for his top three finishers are at the top just above Region I. Dates are also above the #1 seed in both the Div I and Div II playoff brackets.
