4A Schedules - 2014

Thanks guys! Now we're only missing one game each for Irmo and River Bluff. None of their open dates match, so they must have 3A or out-of-states opponents.

River Bluff I can't find anything on that one ive been to there website and the schedule is not up yet but ill keep looking

Thanks! Looking at my spreadsheet I see that I did have that game on York's schedule but not Irmo's, and I had home/away reversed.

I searched my spreadsheet to see if I might have River Bluff on someone else's schedule for weeks 5 or 6, no joy.

We've been previously burned by out-of-state classifications, I think it was 2012 when we had one of North Augusta's GA opponents classified as 3A but SCHSL had classified them as 4A. We didn't know it until the playoff brackets were announced and NA was seeded slightly higher than any of us expected. Luckily it didn't affect who got in, just who had to travel to NA for their first-round thrashing.

One of the coaches I met at the Shrine Bowl this year told me that the SCHSL distributes a list of all the out-of-state opponents and their point classifications. We should all try to get a copy of that list from any contacts we have at the schools.

Eastern Christian Academy may only have 400 students but I think they all play football. I'm guessing they won't be classified as a 1A opponent.

That seems like a pretty good idea SF. I think its crazy that we have to guess the SCHSL should post that info on their website but that makes to much sense for them to do that.

Eastern Christian out of Maryland is a football factory from what I have been reading and gathering from everybody

Question SF how can you get a copy of that list would you fill out a foa to get it from the high school league or try and get it from a coach

I'm hoping we can get the info from a coach or AD, that would be easiest. If we can't, I'll request it from SCHSL. Hopefully they'll reply and not put me through the hassle of a foia request.

I had a coach promise to send it to me as soon as he receives it from the SCHSL.
