Easley football job is posted. The Salary is $99,750!
https://pickens.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=7110
This is public knowledge. What's also public knowledge is that in Pickens County all the coaches make the exact same. What Liberty/Pickens FB coaches make is what Daniel coach makes.. It's pretty sad!

You are correct. It is public knowledge, but not everyone knows that. Just wanted to refresh people's memories, or put it in new peoples line of vision.

There's really no excuse for them to not have a better football program. They have a really good rec system and great facilities. Their rec teams are always competitive but it seems like they just fall off when the kids get to HS.

Totally agree. They should be a lot better. They don’t keep their kids is the problem, they all school choice out of there. most that come to Daniel don’t seem to see the field anyways. I would think a whole bunch of them are better off staying

EHSMeanGreen, what do you think about this? Were you sad to see Easley's Coach step down? Hopefully, your Greenwave will hire a good Coach.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

Easley had a great program back in the days when Easley was just Easley. The town shut down on Friday nights to support that team. But times change. Easley is little more than an extended part of Greenville these days. Wren is close and has had a far better program. Daniel is right down the road and is obviously superior. There isn’t that town pride in Easley anymore that they used to enjoy where every kid growing up in Easley dreamed of playing there. That has been lost. Nowadays they are just another high school.

No, it's an add on for days worked.

The supplement is basically an add-on for the activity.

Base school pay is for 190 days worked. This is part to the state minimum, plus the 1980 EIA law/penny tax that supplements that minimum.

If a school official is contracted for more than the 190 day, then the per day extra is added on to the contract.... hence the 220 or full time/year around/12 month language.

Every teacher/admin/guidance/etc... is based on a 190 working contract. If a person works more than 190 days, then they have a contract that has a salary increase based on the per day amount of what their 190 day contract would be. Then districts can 'supplement' each contract based on what that district deems as necessary.

Supplements and days paid are 2 different things.
