Congratulations to a young talented Sandy Creek team! They definitely show signs to repeat as the 3A state champions again.

Greenwood definitely got battle tested Friday night and will take the lost as a building block to get better this week. Should be the toughest team we will face this year but we must remain focus and ready for each opponent left on schedule. We young and developing in a new offense that will improve each week.

Is Sandy Creek talented? Yes. Are they 3A Georgia repeat level? I wouldn't go there yet. That team made lots of mistakes that Greenwood didn't capitalize on. Good teams capitalize on those. The jury is still out for me on both teams in their respective classes and states. Greenwood is still working hard, but there are still improvements to make. Another test with Dorman coming in.
