I was told that Gaffney turned Tom Knotts down a week or so ago. They felt their schedule is loaded and didn't want to start with Dutch Fork and then to JL Mann.

Last year was the first year Hodge and QBU guru didn't have a transfer QB as a starter. They struggled on offense as they had to play with who they had in the building.
