Folks like to point to Greenville’s upset of Northwestern, but I really don’t see how they didn’t win state. Some highly rated college recruits on that team. May have had more talent on that team than anybody in the state in any classification

Don’t know what St Joe’s pays, but from a football standpoint St Joe’s is probably a better job.

Rock Hill could improve I suppose, but I don’t see them returning to the glory days under Jim Ringer. Ringer had a lot of the athletes that are now at SP since it was built.
Indian Land will just keep getting bigger as that area continues to grow. Just depends on the mix of kids they have.

Hopefully the schools in the upstate, where they can, will freeze Mountain View out. That is what the schools around York County did when Legion cranked up their football program. And it worked as Legion dropped their football program

Greenwood can be better, but I would temper my hopes on a return to the states elite. Greenwood just isn’t the same place it was years ago.

Was he hired as the potential replacement before the year started as has been rumored? That should have made for an uncomfortable coaches room.

So the numbers the SCHSL sent out had 38-46 teams in 4A but this only has 24, right? In this prediction there are 39 teams. Also york is missing but I doubt they would be 4A But may knock someone from 5A to 4A. So maybe totally wrong, but I think the # that will determine a lot of movement will be ...
