Re: Football City, USA Football Showcase

So it says four premier programs . I see northwestern and south pointe are playing Who are the other two premier programs? Are getting added later? There are no scrimmages/playing against another school, just practicing in the same area/complex. College coaches are extremely limited now by the NCAA...

I suspect they will not be scrimmaging against other schools, it will be a "joint practice" like that one planned in Spartanburg.

Multiple schools practicing in a single location, to allow college scouts to see a lot of kids at one time.

Re: State Titles

Okay, USC would be the perfect site... seats, parking, central location... everything. Good for this coach and I hope he does well, but didn’t someone say they were interviewing D1 college coaches for this job? C’mon…
You might be surprised how many college coaches are trying to get high school jobs.

Re: Chapin and other job openings

Word I am hearing on Chesnee is the head coach at Pisgah in NC is going to be the guy. They are going after another NC coach who has had some success but Clay Lewis won titles in NC and then flopped big time at Chesnee. It is proof that SC football is general is much better. Anyone should be very w...

Re: New Transfer policy being considered

I'm okay with the private school kids playing for the school they are zoned for, but I think the proposed transfer policy goes too far. For once I agree with Jerome. Excerpts from the article: But students could only transfer once per academic year because of concerns about ping-ponging between sch...
