Coming to York County, the Clover school district is adding Lake Wylie high school scheduled to open fall of 2026. Mascot is Chargers, colors light blue and gold (like the NFL Chargers)

As an Abbeville fan and booster, the move to 1A is extremely disappointing to me. I speak only for myself, but, the move, IMO, was very bad for the flagship program, football.
