Re: Bands question
Former 5A band director here. SC doesn't have a firm rule that anyone was able to show me, but I was told we were only supposed to play when our team had the ball. I asked coaches and ADs about this, and they said they didn't care if the band was small at seated in a far off place. At one school onc...

Re: Fort Dorchester 59 - Dorman 31
I almost never post, and do not get offended by comments so please don't think of this question as trying to cause discord. For those who saw both Fort D and upper state teams, how do you think fort stacks up? Hearing about northwestern all year I was most impressed with their defense. The offense s...

real FD football talk
So, the Rams kicked our butts. Fort didn't get a first down until 2 minutes left in the first half. Completed about 3 passes, and I think had less than 100 yards of offense. The first quarter was probably -20 yards of offense, and 50 yards of penalties. There were so many flags it looked like NASCAR...

Re: Poll & Opinions: Hillcrest at Fort Dorchester
Fort will struggle against a really fast team with a QB who makes decisions quickly and well, and can actually complete passes. You won't have more than 4 seconds (at the most) to pass, but the DBs at Fort are the weakest part of the D. Bluffton had the offensive scheme to give us the most trouble, ...

Re: South Florence? Tell me about them?
Haven't seen them since the first game of the year, but I remember a good running game with some solid play calling, and a pretty decent line. In other words, coaching was happening, but there wasn't an athlete that stood out as taking over the game. We didn't pass much, but watching the DBs move I ...

Re: Fort D fans....
Closest hotels are off Ashley Phosphate. There is a brand new Hilton Double Tree, and a year old Hyatt. Tons of little places also. North Charleston is the number 1 retail location in the state, and right off Ashley Phos is Northwoods Mall and the big box stores of Rivers Ave. For better selection, ...

Yes, and Carlos Dunlop, and Byron maxwell.mikey wrote:Thanks Bbbrass......Off the subject of the game...Didn't Robert Quinn play at Fort D.....?
For QBs, Paul Cianciolo played QB (backup) and pitched at penn st, and Ethan long is currently a backup QB at east carolina.
